Autonomy Cubed
Company Profile
At Autonomy Cubed, we foster innovative solutions to tackle real-world operational challenges with our Robotics as a Service (RaaS) model. Partnering directly with organisations, we guide teams through every stage of the automation process, beyond initial implementation.
We offer a range of robotic cleaning solutions, for various environments, including sustainable, multi-functional robots with UV cleaning. Leveraging nearly two decades of combined experience in facilities management, we know that the key to finding the right solution is understanding the organisation’s needs. We work alongside your team to integrate floor cleaning automation, streamline critical workflows, and unlock new levels of productivity.
Approach to Healthcare
Our objective is to enhance efficiency while maintaining high cleanliness standards, and in doing so empowering healthcare facilities to manage rising operational costs effectively. Through the introduction of reliable, consistent and efficient floor care in the healthcare sector, hospital staff can focus on other critical tasks, ultimately contributing to better patient care.
We believe that patients and NHS staff deserve a safe environment, this is why we look for unique features in our offering that provide extra protections and assurances such as UV cleaning. Our vision is to create an environment, where healthcare staff and patients feel safe and are able to focus on what matters most – their and their patients’ health.
We offer sustainable, resilient solutions that automate critical, non-clinical tasks, thereby supporting the growth, satisfaction and stability of healthcare organisations.
Impact of Products / Services on Healthcare
Since the healthcare sector is under a rising pressure of expenditure, staff turnover and staff shortages, Autonomy Cubed aims to address those challenges, by implementing a range of robotic floor cleaning solutions.
Our mission is to automate workflows and improve efficiency which is key to supporting operations of the NHS and decreasing rising pressures on time and resource allocation. Through scheduling cleaning tasks and real-time monitoring on the App, NHS staff can effectively manage resources and ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times. Introducing this analytical approach does not only improve operational efficiency, but also allows for effective resource allocation and increased employees’ satisfaction, reducing staff turnover. Automating non-clinical tasks reduces time and money spent on recruitment, training and covering shifts which are difficult to plan and budget for.
Driving efficiency is not, however, our only focus. We are passionate about improving cleanliness standards through the implementation of innovative solutions such as multi-functional autonomous cleaning robots, elevating traditional cleaning operations to the next level. By introducing one of our models which offers a 99% disinfection rate through UV-C light disinfection – a proven method ideal for hospital environments, we reduce the use of chemicals in the air, while delivering high standards. As our range has an ultra-low usage of water and chemicals, it not only further decreases expenditure, but also contributes to achieving sustainability targets of the organisations. This niche offering is tailored towards hospitals, care homes and other establishments where hygiene and safety are of uttermost importance.
Innovation
Responding to users’ feedback and needs, Autonomy Cubed has shifted its focus from simply supplying automation equipment to a partnership model that supports organizations in integrating innovative technologies. Introducing a Robotics as a Service approach, we join efforts with teams to implement robotic cleaning solutions.
Our ability to fully manage the fleet allows us to relieve operational burden from the in-house teams, while shifting the liabilities from CAPEX expenditure to OPEX. By embracing the RaaS model, we placed ourselves in the unique position within the growing robotics and automation area. The technology we deploy allows us to retain control over the cleaning processes through monitoring and App management, while increasing efficiencies. This approach enables us to build infrastructure at scale, which is the most suitable for complex organisations such as the NHS, where collaboration is the key to long-term success.
Future Direction
The key mission of our company is to help “futureproof businesses” through innovation and smart resource allocation.
Driven by our ambition and vision, we explore strategic industry partnerships to continuously elevate the level of our solutions. Our imminent aim is to partner with the UK healthcare providers to integrate sustainable technologies that build resilience against ongoing cost pressures and labour shortages.
Looking towards the future we desire to expand our offering by creating our own cleaning robots, with focus on further reduction of the use of chemicals and hence enhancing safety within healthcare environments. Our efforts also centre around achieving net-zero targets while championing sustainable solutions throughout the NHS.
