Columna Flow Task Management is Systematics’ solution that support and optimize hospital workflows across disciplines and departments. It’s developed for the staff’s varying workflows and is accessible from different platforms depending on needs and situation. The user-friendly interface makes it easy for caregivers, porters, and service staff to request, gain overview of, pick, and complete planned tasks. The information is shared in real-time across platforms so that coordinators and management can follow the progression and intervene before a potential challenge becomes a problem.

How many organisations/clients currently utilise the service/solution across the UK?
Four hospitals are currently running live in Scotland, and six more has contracted and are about to start implementation.

What do you feel are the key points delegates need to digest when considering a partnership with your organisation?
Systematic have worked with IT for Healthcare, both clinical and non-clinical for almost 30 years, so we know our way around a hospital.
Our solutions are used in all major Danish hospitals, and in hospitals in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Australia and Scotland. We’re also just about to start implementing in hospitals in Holland and New Zealand.
Our headquarter is in Aarhus, Denmark, but we have an office in Farnborough in England as well, and we do intend to service British customers out of here.

Do you want to add any other key points?
If you haven’t digitalized the workflows for Service Task Management yet, there are substantial benefits to reap quickly. Studies in Denmark shows an increase in efficiency above 20 % for the Service Department from day one, as well as a major decrease in communication errors related to tasks.
When we implement our solution we often see an increase in utilisation of clinical resources like radiology and operation theatres, because they are directly affected by the timeliness of service of patient transports.
